Guest guest
I will soon begin a study with a western doctor here in Sweden that will satisfy people who like studies. It will be done with two groups of 25 people, one group being trained by physioterapists and one group getting acupuncture and/or moxa. It is an important study, because I think this will be the first of it's kind in Sweden. One nice thing is great is that the ap./moxa treatment will be individualized! The WM doctor who has made many studies finds this as natural to the study. What will be compared is two medicinal systems, both probably with good results. (I hope of course to show that the ap./moxa tratment will have a faster and better effect.) The dysfunction that will be studied is incontinence with younger women, often after having a child. I have some ideas of what to do, but would love to hear your opinions. How would you generally look at this? What is the first diagnosis, syndrom and treatment that comes in to mind? Do you have a general prescription that works for you? Highly appreciative of your response Holger

Very difficult to get real information using just 25 people. Alon
Guest guest
In the study there will be 50 people approx. 25 in each group YEah I know, more is better it is possible we could extend the study to include oldage incontinence and then double the number The area this is done in is not urban and not so populated Would you do it differently with 25 patients and 125 patients? Guest guest
Would you do it differently with 25 patients and 125 patients? Holger >>>Its the question of statistical reliability. The conclusions one can make from 125 patients is different than one can make from 25 patients. Alon
