I'm a 34 year old mother of three, a fantasy artist/illustrator and craftsmith, with a similar interest in Chinese brush painting and calligraphy. I'm also learning Chinese, but I'm afraid I'm still pretty much a beginner. On the side, I'm a practicing herbalist/apothecary with a strong interest in natural Chinese herbal medicine, Taoism, and Qigong/Tai Chi. I find the Taoist approach to meditation one of the most evolved and useful practices I've experienced, am fascinated with Chinese herbalism, and look forward to deepening my knowledge and skill with the help of your group.
