I've been calling this book One Square Inch

for the past five years while it's been coming

into being. It remains to be seen what it is

called after it passes through the ancestral

aperture and arrives in bookstores.

It's a book about Daoist sexual alchemy

and its relationship to medical thinking and

theory.

The three books that Yuhuan and I did for

Paradigm, Who Can Ride the Dragon?,

A Brief History of Qi, and One Square Inch

(which should be out next year...I hope!)

are similar in that they are compilations of

texts, ancient and modern, and for the most

part Chinese in origin, that deal with the

subject at hand. But using the COMP designation,

they're all original works.

As above, One Square Inch. We'll see

if that survives.

Ken

PS. I'll go and post that little bit now. I

feel a little embarassed to have made such

a fuss about it. It's just a few random thoughts

at this point. But I know that something from

this will make it into the final version of

the manuscript. Then it's in the hands of

the editor!
