Guest guest
the deal with vanilla oleoresin is that vanilla does not come in an oil. it is more like a thick viscous syrupy consistancy (oleoresin). it is then broken down with alcohol, like the extract in a way, but rather than starting with a bean they are starting with a resinous concentrate. so, yeah, i would think it safe to use in body products (i'd use it before synthetic vanilla). i believe aside from bean and extract, its the only natural way to get vanilla for body products, and its thick so a little goes a long way. the company i'm trying to get info from has all different grades of oleoresin - 10 fold thru 40 fold. i am interrested to see that since i've only seen 20 fold oleoresin. i'm also looking at the price comparison between the 20 fold oleoresin guy i know and these other vanilla oloresin folks. *smile* chris can you use the vanilla oleoresin > for body products with no adverse effects? > andréa
