Guest guest
What all could the salts be used for? I'm interested in the bath purpose, but what about smelling salts? Other uses? Guest guest
you can use the salts for baths, these kinds are higher in mineral content, so they're great for the skin. also you can make salt scrubs for the skin, and the hawaiian salt is an edible grade too. the celtic salts aren't cause the edible grade is $$$. i would imagine you could make smelling salts - aren't they like salt and amonia and another ingredient or two? i remember in jr. high a girl brought them in for a class project and i never knew what they were (only saw themn used in movies) and opened the bottle put it right under my nose and inhaled deeply and almost killed my sinus passages for life!! *LOL*. spiritually the salts are great for cleansing and purification. the different salts could be used for different types of sprirtual work with the energies from the parts of the world the salts are from. those are just a few ideas off the top of my head :-) *smile* chris the_oil_co-op , " Kate " <elementalchick> wrote: > What all could the salts be used for? Guest guest
I think I'm more interested in the edible Hawaiian. The smelling salts I'm thinking of are an updated version I read of somewhere. You just put essential oils in with the salt and seal it in a bottle with a cork. When you need an uplifter, or a calmer (etc. depending on the oil(s)), you open it and ahhhh... How coarse are the salts? Like sea salt or smaller like kosher salt?
