I brought some to Alaine and her hubby last night and they were blown away as well. It really does smell and taste like roses! It is delicious. This would make a fabulous gift for even the most difficult soul to please! Magickal associations of Rose : Love, Psychic Powers, Healing, Love, Divination, Luck, Protection Add a little of this to your diet, you never know... ;-) Makes a wonderful offering to the god/dess' (for those of you who do such things Organic Rose Petal Jam New from Turkey Rose Petal Jam (Rosa damascena): A healthy treat that tastes and smells like Rose Otto - it's made from the same Rose Petals. This is a favorite item on the Turkish breakfast table. It's normally eaten with Feta Cheese, Olives and Fresh bread ... Try it and you'll want some more - that's a guarantee .... ;-) It's produced by Turkey's largest producer of processed fruits and vegetables. Their factories utilize the most modern equipment, have a daily production capacity of 400,000 cans/jars and 80 tons of frozen food, and employ more than 3,500 people during the peak season. HACCP is exercised in conjunction with ISO 9002 standards. The ingredients of Penguen Rose Petal Jam are: Rosa damascena petals, sugar, glucose, citric acid (acid regulator E330), pectin (E440) and water. The roses are organically grown, but as the country of origin, Turkey, has no certification standards it is not certified organic. The Nutritional Values are (per 100 grams) Calories 284; Protein .45 gr; Carbohydrates 68.6 gr; Fat .92 gr.
