Hi Michele, I was wondering if you could give us some tips on making

candles... the most easy way to make scented candles, for instance. I

tried adding a few drops of oil to melted wax, but the scent didn't

get any strong! I had to add a lot of oil LOL What is the best way to

scent your candles made from melted wax?

Hugs!

well..... you do have to add a lot of oil to make your candle scented.

That's why I'm here, to buy oil more cheaply than I can otherwise. Also,

add your oil last, just before you pour your candle. The problem is that

when the wax is hot, it can cause the oil to evaporate. If you add it just

before you pour the candle, then it has less time to evaporate. When I have

time a little later, (Adrian is being cranky just now) I'll write more about

making candles, but realize, I'm still learning too! I'm not an expert,

most of what I learned is from trial and many errors.

Hope this helps!

Smiles!

Michele

Thanks for the info, Michele! I noticed other thing when I added the

oil: the drops crystalized in the wax LOL Why would that happen? ;)

Write any time, I'd love to learn about it! Also, does anyone know

where can I get molds for the candles?

Thanks again Michele!
