Guest guest
Hello there We've got two cats and just sometimes we seem to get mice in the loft, maybe originating from one that they let get away. One we had used to come down the sides of the water pipes into the airing cupboard and used to eat soap!!! We got a humane mouse trap. It's a little box at the end of a tunnel. You put something tasty in the end of the box - strange but they didn't seem to like cheese! and then the mouse goes after it, springs the door and is shut in the box at the end. We thought we only had one mouse the first time but put the box back 8 nights on the run and caught 8 mice! We just took them down the garden and set them free - we're softies. Can't think of how essential oils would work, especially as they ate the soap Regards Ann - Scotland
Guest guest
Hi, Yep, for sure, back in Connecticut and believe it or not, we used peppermint EO.... a few drops in a spray bottle w/distilled water - spritz around the areas the mice are at or would come in at.... GONE. (we have cats and they don't do a darned thing about mice.. lol, and the dog ignored the whole thing.....) But........in the fall, back in New England, since we lived out in this little town, with lots of fields and woods -- when it started to get cool out, the mice would come and try and get into wherever they could find a warm place - usually someone's house. This also works on ants and spiders...........Tell your friend, Good luck!
