I use olive oil in my soap too and my last one was kinda soft so if you let it sit about 48 hrs it should harden up enough to unmold. I am sending a link for soap recipes that you may want to try out...you can also email kathy if you have any soap questions about the recipes too.

I make my own molds too, just made 4 this weekend. Too easy when you have tons of scrap lumber and a wood shop ;)

we made the mold and the liner. Cost me total of $5

Ok, I have tons of scrap wood and a woodshop.......how do you make your molds? I would be interested in making some.

I take a piece of 9 " pine (3/4 " thick) and cut it to about 16 " , I then take 3 " pine (3/4 " thick) and make sides for the box and nail it together. I then take a scrap piece of plywood that fits as a cover and that's my box. I line it with waxed paper and it works great
