Natural Oven Cleaner

Sounds like a great idea if you have a little bit left over from a batch just wash your oven with it!

Howdy folks,

 

I've discovered a WONDERFUL all natural oven cleaner ..... boiling hot,

melted, rebatching homemade soap! How do I know this you may ask

....well, I put a little too much soap in my rebatching pan in the oven

and some of the hot soap erupted out of the pan, onto the hot inside

bottom of my oven and when I wiped it up my oven was SOOOO clean And

it doesn't smell funny or leave a a film either! Just passing along the

tip!

I discovered very much the same thing these last coupla days too Chris, though

slightly differently !

Rebatched using the oven method (thank you for that tip!) then filled the

container up with hot water to soak out the remains. I used it to clean up

everything in sight once I wiped up a spilt bit & saw how easily it moved grease

!

And the remains went over the lime tree to smother the few citrus bugs that have

taken up residence. I rebatched a second lot last night, & have that dish also

filled now with a thick gel that'll I'm sure will get well used around the place

!

It also makes a great quick hand gel!
