Guest guest
I'm going to try this one today, so later folks, I'm off to work in the kitchen making All Natural Aromatherapy Ornaments! *Smile* Chris (list mom) Only 33 Days left until Christmas http://www.alittleolfactory.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://www.luxurylane.com/thelibrary/themes/xmas.htm Cinnamon Christmas Ornaments 1/3 cup Elmer's glue 1 lb cinnamon, ground 1 cup (more or less) unsweetened applesauce 1/4 cup ground cloves Blend the spices together. Mix in applesauce 1/4 cup at a time until you get a stiff but somewhat sticky dough. Grease a cookie sheet with a spray, and grease your hands. pat out the dough onto a greased surface (I use a corian cutting board) and cut out the " cookies " with cookie cutters- bear shapes and gingerbread man shapes look good with the brown dough- and add " faces " with whole cloves. Carefully put the cookies onto a cookie sheet, poke a hole in the top with a straw (for the hanger) and bake at 300 degrees F until they are nice and hard- 15 minutes at least, depending how thick the dough it, keep checking until they are no longer sticky. Let cool, and tie a ribbon through the hole to hang them by. ~~~~~~~~~~~

Guest guest
Translation please !! What's Elmer's glue? My guess is what we have as Perkin's Paste - a starchy glue that's a standard for kiddies scrap book pasting - same kinda stuff ?? I'm on the lookout for any Chrismassy type recipes using EOs, if anyone's got any inspiration to spare ;-) Jane :-)) Christine Ziegler wrote: > I'm going to try this one today, so later folks, I'm off to work in the > kitchen making All Natural Aromatherapy Ornaments! > > *Smile* > Chris (list mom)
