Hmm...so many good smelling ideas.

Been candling again this evening did Jasmine and

Rosemary, oh Rosewood sounds so soothing. I love the

smell, I know all the rain forest issues please don't

bombard me, I said I love the smell.

Well, I best clean up so I can use the kitchen for more

yummy projects tomorrow. This time of year it is so easy to

work till the sun comes up. The house is so quiet, the phones

not ringing, the rain is gently falling maybe one more batch

before bed...hmmmm....maybe.

Oh and if you haven't see Harry Potter, go. I went to

a 9:45 p.m. show the other night, not a kid in a place,

just adults having a wonderful, magical time.

Here comes Santa Claus, Here comes Santa Claus...

I massaged a client yesterday with Jasmine Sambac & Rosewood & Pink Grapefruit -

dunno which one of us loved it more !! It was one of those blends that just

happened - might have to put it in a body butter, methinks !

I've been hearing such a lot about Harry Potter lately (well, who hasn't *lol*)

.... lots of parents in particular who've heard talk of it being banned (yes, we

have a couple of schools who have banned them *shakes head*) so started reading

the books to see just what was taking their kids away from TV & were totally

captivated!!! I think we might have to organise a grownups night out at the

movies for this one ;-)

We have a newsreader on one of the freetoair tv channels in Sydney who's name is

Harry Potter - *chuckling here* - he is sooo far removed from any sense of the

magical ;-)

Jane :-))

Jane, i'm pretty new at blends, could you share your recipe for this one with

me? Deonia

Hi Deonia,

Don't have my notes here with me, but from memory it was 3 drops of the Jasmine

(which was a 1% in jojoba blend), with 4 of Rosewood & 6 of the Grapefruit. The

carrier oil was a blend that the clinic uses & I blended in a 25ml bottle.

I tend to blend on-the-fly when I'm preparing a massage blend just to use in a

single session & rarely use the same blend again - even for the same person,

although the nature of this particular clinic is that I'd rarely see a client

twice. And if I did, next week they would have different needs, even if ever so

slightly. Rarely would two blends with the same EOs come out the same, unless

I'm doing it specifically for making a product to sell at market, & then I've

spent considerable time composing the blend & recording each drop that goes

into it !! Which is what I'll probably now do with this one - recreate it from

scratch, rather than trying to necessarily copy the same 'formula' I used on the

client. That's what I love about blending EOs - each one is a new experience & a

new creation.
