OT: Oregano Hydrosol and Linalool Type Oregano

Got you covered .. fact is, I drank some today .. I had to. Haven't

been out with the guys in a while but last night, I went to a fish

restaurant with a couple'a buddies - and when you eat fish here, you

gotta drink Raki or the Rank Police will get you. ;-p Raki is the

Turkish national drink - sorta like Greek Ouzo .. made with grapes

co-distilled with anise seed so it's aromatherapeutic besides the fact

that enough of it will knock you on your butt and I had enough last

night. Has a high acid content and can give you heartburn. Oregano

hydrosol will calm stomach ails in a heartbeat and I had some stomach

ails when I woke up .. ;-)

That's the Origanum dubium (Linalool Type) ...

 

Distiller is still buying up the plants - danged hard to find as it is

not a readily available plant .. not found in abundance in any one area

so he has to get a bit from this village and a bit from that and so on.

It will take right at 2 1/4 tons of plant material to make the 50 kilos

I want. he keeps saying I'll have it " next week Inshallah " .. meaning,

God Willing - next week .. ;-p God gets blamed for so much - huh?
