Guest guest
I am so sorry to hear about your pet. You have my deepest sympathy. I have a red/white party cocker who is 13 years old and I so dread even thinking she will leave me. Unconditional love is the only thing I can say. They are as much a part of you as your family. Prayers. Blessings and love, Effie
Guest guest
Hi Deonia, Don't doubt that you did the right thing.. at all. You did. Our prayers are with you in your loss. Even when we're doing the right thing, that somehow doesn't always make it a heck of a lot easier, does it? Hugs to you............ I just couldn't let her struggle any more and she was too heavy for me to try and carry her. I guess God, in His great wisdom, Knew that was the only way I was going to let her go. Guest guest
Deonia, I have been so swamped here, did not get a chance to visit often. Now that I am here I see this post! I looked high and low for your post about this, however the subject must have changed or I am going blind. Anyhow, what I am trying to say is that - You ARE a great animal mommy! - never forget that. I have lost my Cinnamon in July and to this date wonder, what if I did this that day, what if I did that...what if... I know one thing and that is that, I did everything in my power to make things better for her. I loved her, protected her, hugged her, kissed her nose, top of her little head, cared for her when she was too sick to even walk, hand fed her when she could not eat, slept on the floor next to her bed when she could not breath... The same goes for you Deonia! I miss her everyday of my life...her brown eyes, her little walk, her little body, her big heart. I know that same goes for you Deonia. I have her dish in front of my desk and in sits a tiny plant, I turned her tiny collar into a bracelet for me, her dog tags are on my key chain, her ashes in a great urn in my living room next to the chair she so loved to snuggle in...she is with me still, just in a different way. The same goes for your baby... We do the best we can for our animals and they KNOW it. I send you many many hugs. Be well ) Sevi sevik >got a beautiful card from my vet. letting me know i did the > right thing for her. Yours and His, Deonia
