Guest guest
Hi Autumn, Of course our prayers are with you and yours.. that's terrible and we hope things work out. Yesterday, we took our little male cat-family-member to be neutered............a couple hours later the vet called and said he'd died!!!!!!!! This was Mark's baby.......for the most part, though he loved everyone. What happened? Seems he was " allergic " to their anesthetic, which, when I questioned them about what they'd used, since it's a TEN MINUTE operation ( I know since back where we used to live, I'd assisted our old vet in several, NEVER had a problem!), and they finally told me..............they apparently gave him some valium<???> first, " supposedly to calm him down " , then another IV sedative.............THEN gas! His little heart stopped. Mark's response to them was " You killed my cat? " Believe us.. we know what you're going thru, we were part of Aid To Helpless Animals back in Connecticut and here... the vets are totally different. We saved many, many friends over the years............and now that we're in Florida, we have ONE kitty neutered and he dies. We'll truly pray that yours lives...........and our hearts sure do go out to everyone else here that have lost pet-family lately. We sure hope yours makes it....... Love and Hugs, Marilyn and Mark AutumRainWolf wrote: > MM, > As some of you know, my mom was in a car accident back in 98 leaving her > with traumatic brain injuries...well she had two dogs after the accident and > they are what keeps her going...if it wasn't for them she'd be in a > home...they've given her the will to survive, no lie... well she called me > tonight...her pride and joy who's name is Chyna is very sick and very well > may die... he's two years old and is very much apart of our family... if he > dies my mom will go into a depression she won't be able to come out of.. > please....all of you...could you please say prayers and lite candles for my > mom and for Chyna... they need the help bad... Guest guest
Marilyn: Talk about quack doctors and it must include vet's!! I feel so very, very sorry for you and everyone else that has lost a pet recently. I had to take my cocker in to the vet yesterday. While I was grooming her I noticed her one eye didn't look very good--blood shot. Somehow she had injured it and it has ulcerated. I just feel so bad that I didn't notice it sooner. Have to take her back in Friday so hope I get good news. Prayers go out to you and everyone else. My heart aches for you. Blessings and love, Effie P.S. I am very lucky to have a good vet. He is really dedicated. Guest guest
*Hugs* I worked in an animal hosiptal and there is NO excuse for that .. and it is a two minute operation that involves a tiny razor slit less than an inch large and that is ALL I honsetly don't even remember the place I was at using gas for that! Just a shot that knocked them out for a few! *Hugs Again* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com > > > Marilyn Nicholson <menicholson7 > > Tuesday, December 18, 2001 11:11 AM > Re: prayers and candles needed > > > >Hi Autumn, > > > >Of course our prayers are with you and yours.. that's terrible and we > hope > >things work out.
