Guest guest
Hello all, I came across a website that touted their brand of fish oil was supreme to all others because it was " industrial " strength as opposed to " consumer " strength. Has anyone else came across this? What are all your opinions about this? Also, does anyone else in this group take fish oil for irregular heartbeats? I have atrial fibrillation, and read an article in which the study gave the participants 2.4 grams of oil a day and it alleviated the afib. I would greatly appreciate any comments and/or suggestions! Take care, Elizabeth

" pharmaceutical " strength fish oil might be a more appropriate term...from Michael T. Murray www.doctormurray.com I recall reading that Atrial fibrillation is the result of calcification of arteries and heart valves which I believe is due to overuse of Dairy products and excessive calcium supplements without the accompanying magnesium to go with it. These imbalances affect the heart and arteries, resulting in insufficient oxygen supply going to the heart. Usuallly a good magnesium/potassium supplement such as Krebs cycle " Enzymatic Therapy " will swiftly correct these imbalances. www.enzy.com Fish oil is effective for cardiovascular disease. In a case of blockages fish oils are indicated. The " tocotrienols " are wonderful for arterial blockages. In cardiovascular disease, alaskan salmon and sardines (waterpacked) along with the better quality fish oils (tocotrienols) are best. AIM companies offers a higher quality fish oil supplement at a very reasonable price, however I believe in heart disease that the most benefits are derived from the foods (fish which are low in the food chain). For " free radicals " in the bloodstream... Selenium's (200 mcgs) " antioxidant " value is unsurpassed. Best Regards, JoAnn
