A friend recently gave me this and I thought I'd pass it along...

Japanese mushrooms:

Shitake contains polysaccharides which can lower

cholesterol. Eating 3 oz. of fresh shitake daily lowers blood cholesterol by

some 7%.

Maitake lowers blood pressure and reduces tumors.

Both fresh garlic and olive oil thin blood/frequent clotting and raise HDLs.
