Account Settings menu 2) Select Local Folders 3) Highlight the text under Local Directory, and press CTRL-C to copy the location 4) Press WindowsKey-E to bring up the Windows Explorer 5) In the address bar, press CTRL-V to paste the location. This is where you want the files to go. 6) In that location, create a new directory and call it AMF. 7) Switch to your web browser, come to this page, right-click and select Save As... for each quarterly archive file. If you can, make the files save to the same location as in your Windows Explorer location of your Local Folders. 8) Use WinZip (Windows 95/98/2000, ME) or simply open up the .ZIP files (Windows XP) and extract them into the AMF folder that you created. 9) Close/Exit Thunderbird. Open it up again. In your personal folders you should see a folder called AMF with subfolders for each of the quarterly archives you downloaded. You can search through the entire archives by selecting the top-level AMF folder as your starting point.
