Hi David,

Welcome to the group!

Echinacea is definitely one of the best herbs for boosting your immune

system, but remember that your body needs a break from it. Don't take it

constantly. One week on, one week off, or if you really need it, or are

cleansing, up to 3 weeks on, one week off.

What vitamins are you taking? If you are on a good nutritional

food-based supplement, like the Total Nutrition formula (see the files

for info), then there are very few vitamins that you need to supplement

with. I highly recommend the Total Nutrition as it is most easily used

by the body and it is " whole " , not processed down to one or two

components that someone decided was needed.

Other things I recommend to people on a regular basis are the Total

Tonic and the Panther Piss formulas (see the files). Total Tonic is the

natural anti-biotic, anti-viral, anti-fungal, and anti-parasite formula

that doesn't kill off any of the " good guys " ! The Panther Piss will help

return your body pH to the alkaline side where it should be (but most of

ours isn't! LOL!). It's also very high in lots of very needed minerals.

The last questions I would have are what is your diet like and have you

done any cleansing. Let me know and I'd be happy to give you more

advice. ;)

Best,

Kelli

David,

Astragalus is a fabulous immune system builder. And you can take it regularly unlike Echinacea where you have to break every three weeks. Other things which are wonderful immune builders are spirulina and wheat grass.

Herbal Remedies - Does anyone know...

Hello everyone, my name is David and I am new to this group. I have a question for you all; does anyone know which herbs build the defenses in the body? I've been using echinasia, goldenseal, taking vitamins, eating a lot of garlic, I exercise regularly, I don't smoke, and abuse my body in any way and when I get sick, it really hits me hard. I even drink herbal teas. If anyone can offer me any tips and/or advice I would deeply appreciate it. Thanks again, DavidFederal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Natural methods can sometimes backfire. 2. If you are pregnant, consult your physician before using any natural remedy. 3. The Constitution guarantees you the right to be your own physician and toprescribe for your own health. You're completely right Susan, and all these things are in the Total Nutrition formula too. :)

Charlotee,

Thanks for the tip and the reply. Can I get this at any health food

store? I live in Sacramento, CA and I am not familiar with the

health food stores here. Thanks again and have a great day. David

does anyone know...

I take coenzyme q10 because it stops my heart irregularities and so I have a

normal beat, BUT it raises the number of beats to around 100 while resting.

I need the coenzyme, so Im looking for something that naturally lowers the

heart speed,

Does anyone know what will reduce the heart speed?

Thanks

Carole

magnesium . I take 400mg a day and am off all of my perscription meds for

I have had heart arrhythmia all my life- " skipped beats " I used to call

them. What has worked most excellently and without side effects is Hawthorne

berries. I used to buy the capsules; then found that buying whole berries in

bulk was cheaper. I make a tea with a small handful.

Hawthorn Berry and Magnesium tends to " normalize " the heartbeat.
