The allopaths suddenly seem to have become very sympathetic to the health of

those who take ayurvedic medicines. Citing the British report on " contaminated "

ayurvedic medicines, the doctors in India now seek to " modernise " ayurveda by

isolating the active ingredients of herbs, finding a chemical equivalent, and

then testing it on animal and human subjects.
