Guest guest
I suffer from frequent/chronic yeast infections. Someone told me to try homeopathic remedies to try to keep them away. I went to the store, and found two shelves worth of choices! If anyone has any recommendations, I would appreciate them immensely!!!
Guest guest
I don't know if this is something you would consider, but I was just listening to the radio today and someone said they used to get yeast infections all the time and her doc told her to stop wearing underwear. She has not worn any in 21 years and has not had a recurrence. Just thought I'd share, may not be your cup of tea however. happygirl , " basketsinfiji " <basketsinfiji wrote: > > I suffer from frequent/chronic yeast infections. Guest guest
-- Just FYI, but I also had that problem and later learned I was diabetic, which frequent yeast infections are a classic symptom...so if you haven't already, get tested for that..I have been doing some research on the subject and learned you can bathe with apple cider vinegar, and it really does help, with out having to take all that medicine... - In , " basketsinfiji " <basketsinfiji wrote: > > I suffer from frequent/chronic yeast infections. Guest guest
My problem stopped, when I did not eat any more sugar, no yeast, no processed food. I also did the cleanses (liver and kidney) and took " Candida Clear " by NOW. Good luck, Ingrid --- basketsinfiji <basketsinfiji wrote: > I suffer from frequent/chronic yeast infections. > Someone told me to > try homeopathic remedies to try to keep them away. Guest guest
YOU CAN USE TEA TREE OIL, AVAILABLE AT ANY HEALTH STORE. IT IS VERY STRONG SO ONLY USE ABOUT 7-10 DROPS IN A DOUCHE BOTTLE AND USE EVERY OTHER DAY OR SO FOR AN ACUTE YEAST INFECTION. IN ADDITION, THERE IS AN AWESOME PRODUCT CALLED THREELAC. I GOT MINE IT ONLINE AND EVEN GIVE IT TO MY CHILDREN AS CANDIDA CAN CAUSE A MULTITUDE OF PROBLEMS THAT WE TYPICALLY WOULDN'T ATTRIBUTE TO YEAST OVERGROWTH. IT IS A POWDER THAT YOU LET DISOLVE IN YOUR MOUTH TO RID YOUR BODY OF OVERGROWTH OF CANDIDA. DIET CHANGES WILL ALSO HELP, PEANUTS FOR EXAMPLE ARE A NO-NO. JUST SEARCH ON THE NET AND YOU SHOULD FIND SOME GOOD INFORMATION ON WHAT NOT TO EAT. THE TEA TREE OIL IS A MUST HAVE THOUGH. PLUS, IT IS USED FOR SO MANY OTHER THINGS THAT IT IS LIKE KEEPING A BOTTLE OF ASPIRIN IN THE MEDICINE CABINET. GOOD LUCK , " basketsinfiji " <basketsinfiji wrote: > > I suffer from frequent/chronic yeast infections. Someone told me to > try homeopathic remedies to try to keep them away. Guest guest
Mostly you'll have to watch what you eat -- and the list can be pretty long. No beer, no breads (anything that has yeast in it) or sugars (that yeast feeds off of), nix most wines. Guest guest
Nylon or synthetic, and thongs tend to cause more yeast issues. Because they hold in moisture and do not allow air flow. Thongs because they are constantly in contact with the rectum and can work like a direct line to the vagina. If you are not comfortable with going without underwear while out of the home, try sleeping without underwear. And change to 100% cotton, looser fitting underwear. Wiping after elimination from back to front will also cause yeast or other vaginitis issues. Frequent douching can cause an imbalance and so can commercial douches. White vinager and plain water are supposed to be the best. A GYN told me once that a woman does not need to douche as the body is self cleaning. If you do, only after your monthly cycle is of actual benefit if any. Systemic fungus can actually show as chronic or frequent vaginal yeast. Eliminating foods from your diet that feed yeast is another alternative. And Lastly zapping for yeast and parasites. Guest guest
(I tried to send this to you off list, but it bounced) I am a Passion Parties consultant and i have been asked this question many times over the past 3.5 years. This may not be the answer in your case, however one of the things I always ask my clients is what type of lubricant they are using. Many lubricants are not PH balanced for our bodies and are notorious for causing dryness, irritation & infections. (KY & Astroglide are found to be two of the worst). You want a lubricant that is water absed & PH Balanced for you. I can reccoemnd several if you are interested. Also..not using lubricants could also be causing this problem. Hope this info mught be usefull Caroline McCully Passion Parties=AE Independent Consultant (530) 400-1728 " Passion Parties =96 Tastefully done and so much fun! Guest guest
Hi, You've gotten some good info here. I would suggest that you get to the cause rather than continuing to treat the effect over and over again. Since I work with women in perimenopause and menopause, I'm curious about your age. Cronic yeast infections are common in midlife women for reasons that don't necessarily mean you have Candida. For a quick fix, try probiotic based suppositories and also take probiotics orally. Personally, I wouldn't use Tea Tree vaginally as it's too drying. Michelle http://www.HolisticMenopause.com > I suffer from frequent/chronic yeast infections.
