Guest guest
Hello, I experience periodic intense itching behind both knees. The interesting aspect of this condition is that there is no visible rash. Sometimes the itching can be described as " firey " like accute poison ivy, and other times it is just a minor annoyance. Could this be a symptom of a problem elsewhere in the body that is just manifesting at this pressure point? Thank you for your help! Signed, Wriggling-in-the-chair A congested liver is frequently the culprit whenever itching is involved. I quite frankly don't know which meridians are involved, but we do know where we can look this up: http://acuxo.com One could spend a lifetime at that website. Sigh. So little time, so much to learn! Meanwhile, you can work the liver reflex on your hand. It is easy to find and quite responsive. Follow the little groove between your pinky finger and your ring finger, on the top of your right hand. Where the V stops is the reflex to the gall bladder. Work it from both sides with your thumb and index finger. Your thumb will be below the fleshy pad on the pinkie side of your right hand. The area is the liver reflex. Poke and prod around, you can't do any harm, and you might feel some relief. I have used this successfully to get rid of the " wooden head " feeling of hangovers, not that I get them often.
