Guest guest
Hi. thanks for your response. I guess my question needed to be rephrased: I don't know what EDTA is. I've heard that it helps clear out the vascular system and cleans out heavy metals from the body. However, a response I had from one individual said that it works on lead only. I see EDTA in capsule form now and I was wondering what it does. Thanks. John Dawson <health_herbal_nutrition wrote: Hi, Yes we have heard of EDTA chelation. This procedure is carried out in a clinic or hospital and entails a few hours there. It is a very expensive procedure and also needs to be repeated on a regular basis. It is an IV procedure and also can strip the body of essential minerals which need to be replaced by supplementation.
Guest guest
Blocked arteries begin with the heart, arteries are like a balloon, the beating of the heart causes expansion and contraction of the arteries leading to arterial damage from wear and tear. Once damaged these worn areas weep like open sores, when fast healing does not occur, then cholesterol present in the blood and fatty acid deposits will build up a thin layer covering the damaged area of the artery. Calcium which is also abundant in the blood, then adheres to the sticky cholesterol, this process repeats over and over until the artery is totally blocked. Many Doctors feel the only option to open blocked arteries is surgery! Some Doctors are aware of IV chelation therapy and may recommend it. IV Chelation (intravenous) been used to clean blocked arteries for over 50 years. IV chelation in most cases takes many months, sometimes over a year to work at a cost of thousands of dollars and only offers moderate assurance of success and it takes most of a day sitting and waiting for the IV drip and then waiting months for results. Rectal-suppository chelation because of poor absorption offers ineffective results with slow improvements. Recently some manufacturers have restricted use to selling only by prescription. Don't bet your life on this one! Oral Chelators like EDTA, Niacin, B-Vitamins, Folic Acid, Malic Acid, Vitamin C, Chlorella, Garlic and other pills, potions, and powders lose their effectiveness by being in contact with stomach acids, they cannot rapidly improve your health. Most Chelators are good for prevention but are not effective at dissolving existing plaque. , Barbara Battibulli <barbbat wrote: > > Hi. thanks for your response. Guest guest
Hi Barbara, Intravenous chelation therapy consists of intravenous injection of EDTA (ethylene diamine tetracetic acid). EDTA is a powerful chelator that binds and promotes the excretion of iron, lead, copper, zinc, cadmium, calcium, and other elements. In the late 1950's, several doctors found that EDTA treatment had a benificial effect in circulatory conditions caused by atherosclerosis. Also, blood cholesterol levels were reduced. The Oral Chelation that we take does lower cholesterol levels and is also beneficial to other heart problems as well as removing heavy metals. We know this to our cost as we live in the UK and have amalgam fillings which contain mercury and over time the Oral Chelation will take out the fillings. Guest guest
EDTA in a man made aminio acid and chelate means claw ,to grab on.In the bodythe aminio acid binds withmetals and then is excrerted from the body. It was frist made by the Germans to treat lead posioning. However, doctors started to notice that some of their patients had block arteries opened. Guest guest
I used to be a nurse in the office of an alternative doctor. He did a lot of IV EDTA chelation. It worked for his patients. We kept hearing stories from people whose previous doctors had given them only a short time to live. Some of them kept coming for years or decades because they didn't want to change their diet, stop smoking, etc. Some of them would regularly drive 4 hours or 8 hours one way for a three hour treatment. So, yes, they found chelation to work. Look for a doctor who is a member of ACAM. http://www.acam.org. Guest guest
Hi Dori, I suggest you speak with Dr Harold Steinberg, MD, about your father. He is based in New York but will do phone consults. www.harolddsteinbergmd.com He was originally trained as a General & Vascular surgeon however he practices only holistic health these days. Removing toxins and unblocking arteries is his speciality. , Dori <javannis wrote: > > Hi everyone, > > Does anyone know someone that has tried EDTA CHELATION and if it works? > > My father has blocked arteries all over his body and doctors said they > cannot do anything surgically for him anymore. > > Any info will sure be appreciated. > > Dori
Guest guest
EDTA CHELATION does work but it is expensive and generally not covered by insurance except when done for lead poisoning. Dr.'s here in the USA charge $90.-120./session. Start with 2x's/week for 10-20 weeks and it adds up fast. Sessions are 3-4 hours each in a doctors office. If you are not in a hurry and your condition is not life threatening, you might want to try herbal chelation at home first. I have used Circu-Flo from Hanna Kroeger. There are others too. You will need 3-6 months to start. Each bottle is a months supply ($30.) They discount it by the box (12). Try: http://www.kroegerherb.com/ or http://www.southernherb.com/ Six months of herbal chelation is about equivalent to 1 or 2 weeks in a doctors office. But a lot easier to do, it will save you time and it is much cheaper. Look for it at this website: http://DrDavidWilliams.com Don't forget to eat lots of garlic and to TAP on it! Whatever else you do, things go better with EFT. http://www.emofree.com/a/?875/1 goes to the free starter package, and there is a PowerPoint presentation in the group files for good measure.
