Guest guest
A natural remedy for bedwetting is a spoon of honey before going to sleep.
Guest guest
I've also heard that cinnamon helps - chew on cinnamon sticks throughout the day, and especially before bed. Guest guest
I dont know any remedies for bedwetting but try to get them not to drink any liquids or have a heavy meal perhaps two hours before going to bed. maybe they are filling up on liquids and thats why they bedwet since they are sleeping on a full tummy. But just try that for a week or so and see if it works! Guest guest
Namaste Rfuaw, My brother and my son also had that problem. It is caused because the kidneys do not develop as fast as the rest of the body. It is also hereditary. It is also caused by people who sleep so deep that they don't wake when they get that urge to go to the bathroom Most importantly, do not make the child feel ashamed for this problem. The child will have long-lasting psychological and self-esteem issues which would shadow their life. There are products you can buy that will wake your child up in time to make it to the bathroom. It helps to bring them up from a deep sleep enough so they can wake. I also bought my son a waterbed. That way it was easier to clean up and it didn't ruin the mattress. You can take him to a regular physician and see if they have any new medications...it has been many years since my son was small. Pretty soon, their kidneys catch up and the problem passes. I am sure your child will be delighted to hear that! Blessings to you and yours! Guest guest
One of my graduate school professors had the same problem with his son. The child had no physical problems, needless to say. The professor began by telling the son he would give him a nickel if he did not go in his bed. Next, he tried a dime. When that did not do the trick he upped the ante to a quarter. Bingo. The boy used the facilities. HTH Denise > Namaste Rfuaw, > > My brother and my son also had that problem. >
