Guest guest Posted April 25, 2004 Report Share Posted April 25, 2004 i need help and fast. i need whoever wants to answer this to email me at RaindropSoup2003, please. i am having an allergic reaction. dont know what is causing it, but i am breaking out all over from head to toe with itchy splotchy hives. the dr. said i was allergic to something..DUH! and he instructed me to take 50 mg of benadryl, but i did try that and it didnt help. i went to the health store today and got some Primal Defense Probiotics to take., some acidophilus and i got some ALJ. I had surgery last friday for an ovarian cyst, and my incisions looked really infected. i never rested after surgery. i was back at work the following Tues, along with being up and about doing chores. i was wondering if it is the anesthesia.. i got laryngitis after surgery, my glands were really really sore the next day and i was sore all over and i lost my voice. it was scratchy that sunday but it improved. then this friday, i broke out...i was taking generic Macrobid after surgery to avoid a bladder infection. i only took 3 of my 20 pain pills to avoid adding any more yeast to my body. i am scared to stop whatever is causing my body to react this way. i do not want to cover symptoms, i want it to run its course and get out of my body, but it hurts and itches and burns and keeps moving all around my body. it moves from my arm to the back of my neck to my face to my lip etc. if u know of something that will ease this other than what i already have, please write to me and let me know. thanks. kari Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I am sure, however, that very soon you will be flooded with good advice. Hang in there, and remember that these people on this list are VERY GOOD at what they do!!!
