Candace....Thought I would answer you till Jamie gets on . Technically they should be submerged in the liquid so that the juice will dissolve all of the shell .Don't lnow if the pulp is concentrated enough to do that . The worst that will happen here is that the portion not in liquid may not fully dissolve , so you could have an egg or two with some portion of the shell still intack. You can still use the lemon egg as long as an egg didn't break in there....Mary O

They're technically submersed, they're moist all the way up, it's just the top half is lemon pulp? Is that okay or does it have to be the straight liquid?

Should I still use it, or throw it out and start it over? It'll be done in the morning.
