Guest guest
Thanks Mary, I've been using hot and cold packs, it's just kind of tough to do many while at my desk as kitchen is on the other side of the house and i am trying to minimize the time on my feet. I added some DMSO last night and this morning before the arnica gel, but it didnt seem to help much. I may try to make it the local herb shop to get some arnica in bulk and add to my " tea " . after that, guess i need to rest and just tough it out ;o) Sylvia herbal remedies , " Ostrowski " <Odesign1@e...> wrote: > Sylvia...I hate hearing that you are in pain. Guest guest
I know, and i will after tonight. Hubby works until 8:30 and doesnt get home until around 8:45 it is dark by then; my poor seedlings are dying for some real soil and not just the little seed pots. Anyway i have to hurry or i will miss the little bit of daylight left here in Sunny NM! Guest guest
Hey Dr. Anna, I am doing your knee exercises whenever my knee bothers me and I love them. I run either 5k or 10k in the morning about 3 times a week and find that that has been strengthening my tendons and muscles in the knee area. So I wanna thank you. Zeb Sylvia, have you tried the knee exercise I gave to John? Anna

Guest guest
One of they main problems I am having with my knee is that I seem almost to reinjure it every time I either pivot on it or move sideways on it. It seems to be the side-to-side type motion or twisting that really sends me to the ground. The excercises seem to support the muscles that are used for this type of motion, making such motion less painful. I still have to do my best to avoid these types of motion, but when I forget and pivot or shuffle sideways, it seems as if any sense of reinjury is less. Does that make any sense at all? It's 20 minutes to 5am, and I am still waking up, I think. JohnDrCrandall <drcrandall wrote: Really, John. What has your experience been? Anna SBC - Internet access at a great low price. Guest guest
How long ago was it that you injured your knee. Muscles heal MUCH faster than TENDON or LIGAMENT. Those could take months to repair so just go easy. If your truly concerned seek out a physical therapist, (they treat with stretches and exercises not drugs).
