Guest guest
Hello all! I haven't posted in a while...don't know if anyone remembers me. I just got my stuff for the cleanse! I am really excited because, wonder of wonders, my husband and teenage son have committed to doing this with me!!! Isn't that great? Hubby needs to drop some weight, they both suffer from allergies, and my son also has mild, exorcise induced asthma...he has an inhaler but never uses it. Me? I have several issues I am hoping to improve or get rid of altogether. I hope I can post our progress here as we go through this together. We start June 3rd. I am so excited!!!! wooooohoooooo! Now, the only thing I had trouble getting down, the last time I did this was the Liver/Gallbladder Tincture. What is IN that, that makes it taste so awful? Is it the wormwood? My hubby and son both tried it and didn't think it was bad at all, but when I take it, no matter what I put it in, it makes me almost throw up. Anyone think of a stronger juice to put it in or have any suggestions on what I can do to keep it down? I will take it regardless, as I know it's important. hug, Stevie
Guest guest
Hi Stevie! Welcome back and congrats on getting all the cleanse stuff together! That is so awesome that you're going to be doing this as a family! My husband and I have both done the cleanse twice now and it's very interesting to me that we each have different "difficulties" on the cleanse. Some things taste bad to him, others to me. When I talked with Doc about that he said that it's what your body needs the most that is going to taste the worst to you. Figures, huh? LOL! I know that this is the "test" that's used for zinc deficiency and it makes sense to me that it applies to other things as well. Anyway, keep us all posted on your progress! Guest guest
I have seen "organic chocolate" at Whole Foods, but I've resisted picking it up and reading the label to see if it's certified organic. Fortunately! LOL! Kelli Babylon [babylon] Saturday, May 29, 2004 9:02 AMherbal remedies Subject: RE: Herbal Remedies - Hi again and cleansing woo hoo!Life without chocolate?...what's the point??? Guest guest
They have it in most HFS's and you can try their website... http://www.rapunzel.com/products/rapunzel/rapunzel_chocolate_our.html They use Rapadura sugar, which is dehydrated organic cane juice. We like the one with almonds.
