Guest guest
Can someone please tell me who, Jeffrey Holmes is? And why I am getting unsolicited mail from him? He has obtained my address form the group mail list. I am not very happy being included in a mailing list that seems to me to be of some sexual nature. Our email address is shown on any message that we post to the group if we look at the message in the archives of the group. When we receive it in an email it is partially hidden. There are a lot of " sick " people in the world and a lot of them on the internet. It is impossible to completely protect ourselves to the point from not having them around us. The best we can do is try and keep them identified and exposed, remove them in the ways that we can and try to protect our own identities. They can also be reported to whoever their email service is with. The best suggestion that I have is for people to get an annonymous type email account like , Hotmail, etc. and use an annonymous name. You still will receive spam, trash, junk, etc, from weirdos, sickos, etc. but you can just delete it and you CAN remain annonymous at least. We probably have less problems of that nature in this group than most of this size but considering that we are considered a large group we do atrract unwelcome mail from many types of people. I have thrown out/ banned hundreds of people from the group. This group receives a lot of mail that never gets posted and never reaches the group. Please pass along to me or the group any email received (the actual email) so that we can try and do something about it. This can be about sexual harrassment, spamming for commercial reasons, personal attacks, or whateever reason. Frank
