Bush to promise affordable health care - again

 

 

2002 State of the Union

Homeland security will make America not only stronger, but, in many ways,

better. Knowledge gained from bioterrorism research will improve public health.

Americans who have lost their jobs need our help and I support extending

unemployment benefits and direct assistance for health care coverage.

wealthy and healthy. In the meantime....costs are rising over here while

U.S. taxpayers fund Iraqis' free health care over there.

 

The Iraqi Constitution

Article 31:

First: Every citizen has the right to health care. The state takes care of

public health and provides the means of prevention and treatment by building

different types of hospitals and medical institutions.

Second: Individuals and institutions may build hospitals or clinics or places

for treatment with the supervision of the state and this shall be regulated by

law.
