Guest guest
DitziSis, I just read from another newsgroup where they are taking a poll. A moderator of numerous groups is saying the same thing about no mail from 3pm til late despite saying it was delivered.I don't think I did either. Guest guest
Same problem here with Aol's spam folder and yet there's a ton of junk mail in my regular mail. I also have had a problem soft bouncing for 3 months, when my email box is no where near being full, so constant resetting. > > Of course, I don't know what is happening to your mail, but a lot of > my mail (from any source ) with any political stuff has been going to my > " bulk " folder. > > It seems that has been doing me the favor of sorting it for me. > So it's probably just one of those " Oh gee we didn't know the program > was making a mistake because it is all done by computer selection with > no human activity " situations again. > > I have to gingerly pick through the daily tidal wave of viruses, trojans, > viagra ads, nigerian money scams, offers of porn, etc. to get some of my mail > with political content. Guest guest
Of course, I don't know what is happening to your mail, but a lot of my mail (from any source ) with any political stuff has been going to my " bulk " folder. It seems that has been doing me the favor of sorting it for me. So it's probably just one of those " Oh gee we didn't know the program was making a mistake because it is all done by computer selection with no human activity " situations again. I have to gingerly pick through the daily tidal wave of viruses, trojans, viagra ads, nigerian money scams, offers of porn, etc. to get some of my mail with political content. Guest guest
Here is another " computer glitch " that is very popular with some online email services and ISPs. Some of your mail gets " accidently " delivered late (like 4 to 12 hours late) so that you have to go back to the previous days mail to scan for those that have been accidentaly delivered late and most of which usually goes unread, by most people, because most people never see it buried back there. You may want to check previous messages that you had already thought you had sifted through. , Shiree1000@a... wrote: > > DitziSis, > > I just read from another newsgroup where they are taking a poll. Guest guest
Of course sometimes we get the ever popular " disappearing mail or mail goes missing " problem. You have heard of disappearing rabbits in magic acts, disappearing ink tricks, or disappearing people into " magician's boxes " or today's ever increasingly popular disappearing people by governments. Well, some services have a little bit of magic also, some emails just " go missing " . I do not know where the rabbit hole is they fall into or who sends them there, but maybe some day we will find a secret place on the internet where there is hidden mountains and mountains of little 0's and 1's.
