President's Proposal to Further Nuke Our Own - OhdearGod give

me strength

 

 

 

 

I am looking at this and almost can not believe my eyes. Nuclear

Energy is not safe for humans nor any living things. Nuclear

radiation, in the forms of leaks or accidents, in mining uranium,

etc., is the absolute WORST THING we could possibly due to endanger

life on this planet.

 

I wonder if this is being introduced now, today, on a Saturday,

because the administration believes that we are too distracted over

this weekend as to whether or not The Dick had one drink or several,

whether he turned to the right (or counter-clockwise), or whether he

had a wee bit toooo good of a time with a certain female ambassador.

 

All I know is that this nuclear madness has GOT to stop. Whether we

are talking about weaponized uranium (some call it " Depleted Uranium "

but the word " depleted " is a misnomer

a nuclear attack on Iran, or building more nuclear energy plants...

Nuclear ANYTHING is radiation that causes destruction to all life

forms for literally BILLIONS of years. In essence, radiation from

nuclear *anything* just does not go away.

 

We are, in effect, nuking - yes as in FRYING - ourselves and this

entire planet to death - and towards rapid extinction.

 

Please remember that after Three Mile Island, no further nuke plants

were built. Then America collectively (apparently) just plain forgot.

I guess? I mean, what else in the world explains the fact that we

still have allowed a psycho-maniac to remain in power who is only

pushing more radiation on us now?

 

Do we all perhaps have such a huge, secret unconscious death wish that

causes us to helplessly sit by and allow these

creatures-of-no-conscience to harm our citizens and run this beautiful

planet right into the ground? Are we like the victims of battering

who are down so low that we no longer have the energy, the strength,

the wherewithal to demand that a veritable madman be legally and

forcibly removed from the house?

 

And just one more thing, if I could please ask. There is something

totally blowing my mind that has to do with the basic logic of all of

this. If the nuclear energy is so vulnerable to " terrorist " (Ahem,

Ahem) attack... Then why in the WORLD would our Commander In Chief be

suggesting that we only ADD to the statistical probability of

nuclear attacks upon our nation - thus putting all of America

knowingly, willingly in even greater harm's way - as in, On Purpose?

 

Someone, anyone, please just answer me one question. Please tell me

how and when are we going to remove these evil-doers from power before

they can do us further harm? Keeping things the way that they are now

is quite simply, clearly, no longer an option.

 

Like I've suggested before, we can demand impeachment and we can

support prosecution of this administration's international war crimes

against humanity. But now, today, with our President's bold and

outright public announcement of his intent to put our citizens in even

greater harm's way? We simply must now *do something* - quickly -

before the evil-doers in power only do more harm to ourselves, to our

families, and to the rest of the world.

WASHINGTON - President Bush on Saturday renewed his push for expansion

of nuclear energy and sought support for plans to revive nuclear fuel

reprocessing to deal with radioactive waste from commercial power

plants. " As America and other nations build more nuclear power plants

we must work together to address two challenges, " Bush said in his

weekly radio address. " We must dispose of nuclear waste safely, and we

must keep nuclear technology and material out of the hands of

terrorist networks and terrorist states. "
