Guest guest
As a classical orthodox Christian and Child and adol Psychiatrist, I was supporting this issue in my state capital last week. The fact is many homosexuals are willing to take the children no one wants. It is a service regardless of ideology. Try not to stone me for saying, IF all things were equal, I still think a stable good hetero situation would be better for many, but this has nothing to do with reality as most know. Many hetero situations are poor, and there are not enough folks with ideology's of restriction willing to offer the love. It is really silly to me that thy cannot adopt, when kids are drowning in the system and have no one. Pathetic really. Guest guest
As an evangelical Christian, and as someone who's sick to death of all of this, I am not surprised anymore by the actions of most " Christians " (especially those who consider themselves most " biblical " ) to continually make up reasons to feel superior to others -- despite the fact that the Scripture itself condemns such attitudes and self-righteousness, no matter how well intentioned they are. Christians who violate 3/4 of the Old Testament Mosaic law use the same law to falsely condemn others (like gay people) for violating their own twisted version of the other 1/4 of the law. Christians who hide their failure to follow even the basics of anything Jesus and the apostles taught behind human-created liturgy, family " rules " and " best ways " , titles, and so on, are themselves responsible for turning the majority of non-Christian and anti-Christian people away from Christianity. All I can say in consolation to those who are hurt by all this is (1) the Scripture warns us that so-called " Christians " would indeed show up to do just exactly the ugliness we see today, and (2) God WILL take care of them, in the end. The only people Jesus ever got mad at in the New Testament were the religious hypocrits - the religious hypocrits of today who not only malign and/or only grudgingly accept gay people (because they can't see that gay people are good and bad, wise and stupid, immoral and moral, just like straight people), but who also don't mind hurting children - those people should be most worried about their spiritual futures (and not the gay people or children they hurt). --- jschaller <jschaller wrote: > As a classical orthodox Christian and Child and adol Psychiatrist, I was > supporting this issue in my state capital last week.
