And what an addictive hobby it is. One almost has to turn it into even a little business to keep making as much soap as we'd like (cause if you're like me, you want to try to make LOTS of soaps, but don't need enough soap in your closets to kick all the towels and sheets out them > and I have very many curiosities into the world of herbs and > EO's. It is a curious world too. Much to learn, even after many years. It can be a lifetime pursuit of knowledge, and a fun one too! > I just wanted to introduce myself, and say that I look forward to " meeting " > everyone. > Sincerely, > Candy in AL I'm glad you did! Get comfy, make yourself at home, and don't hesitate to jump right in and join the discussions (or start a few). *Smile* Chris (list mom) NEW! Guest guest
Hello. I am in grad school for social work. While I know much of my work will require some form of treatment planning, resources, etc. I do not really believe in traditional psychology because it can only claim about a 50% success rate. Having tried several traditional therapies for my " inner child " to recover from sexual, verbal, physical, and emotional abuse (not to mention my food addiction from it)... I also had a history of suicidal thoughts because I thought nothing could help me. I was miserable and did not see any use of being here on earth. I had failed at many traditional programs and was desperate to finally get control over my own life. I had gone from relationship to relationship needing near-constant validation. My professor told me about a new program of an old science. I am skeptical by nature due to trust issues and I am more of a " see it to believe it " person but I was willing to try nearly anything!! My professor gave me a link to an e-book called " Myself Reborn E- Book " (you can probably find it by typing it in google). When I read those stories of others that had taken this " new " therapy and changed their lives I felt like all of their stories fit me (or someone I knew). I decided to check into it further and contacted the therapist (Treyce) for more information. I guess what really " sold " it for me was that she said I do the therapy from home, that I can remain 100% anonymous, and that she will not ask anything about my past - ever! I was so thankful for " no questions " because for the past 20 years I had to meet with different traditional therapists or psychologists who drilled me with questions and, quite frankly, I was sick and tired of repeating myself. So much so that I had even contemplating recording it and just playing it for the next traditional person I met. Treyce told me that the minimum commitment is six months but that it varies depending on how much " crap " I have to get rid of subconsciously. She did say the longest anyone stayed in her program was 2 years. Even so - compared to my 20 years in traditional therapy (with no results) - this was nothing! She then sent me a list of FAQ's about the program. I then decided to check her references, and " google " her. I found out that she is the creator of this program (and copyrighted it in 1987) and has had tons of clients of which every single one was 100% successful. I also found out that in 2006 she conducted a research project for the State of Texas. This research was " aimed at reducing juvenile recidivism rates " - again, 100% successful. There is more information online about that too. Her references were unbelievable! Some people were able to get off of psych meds completely, some people were domestic violence situations and this program made them get up and leave, health issues, stress, depression, suicide and more were 'cured' with this program. I found out that is works with kids too and I was shocked because, given my skeptic nature, I forced myself to say, " what do I have to lose? " . The answer was " nothing " so I went for it. I was in her therapy for 11 months and then " graduated " . I have had no binges with food, I have had better grades, better focus, no more self-hatred or self-punishment, I am no longer latently contemplating suicide, and am happier than I have ever been. Just before I found this program, I had prayed so hard, every day and every night for some help from my 'higher power'. Finally I had decided to talk to the professor (which I have NEVER done in my life about personal things!) and he immediately said, " I know what will work " and gave me the information. I believe in divine intervention and I was supposed to find this. Because I believe my higher power helped me, I feel that I am obligated to return the favor or to say " thank you " by helping others and telling them about it. Therefore - this powerful therapy is called " Handwriting Formation Therapy " . I'm sure you said, " Yeah right " just like I did. However I am not saying that anymore. It is amazing but it is not easy by any means. No therapy will work unless you are self-committed and this one is no different. If my life sounds similar to yours please go to google and type in " Handwriting Formation Therapy " or " myself reborn e-book " for more information. If you have any questions I can answer from my own experiences. If it will help you or someone you know I'm glad to share with you. Feel free to contact me at ErinCefopro any time! Remember the most important thing is self-care but it can only begin with you! Wishing the best for you! Erin
