We previously found that bee venom and melittin (a major component of bee venom) have anti-inflammatory effect by reacting with the sulfhydryl group of p50 of nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-kappaB) and IkappaB kinases (IKKs)…
Guest guest
Inflamation has been linked to the fatal five health conditions - heart disease, cancer, stroke, lung disease & diabetes. There is also such thing as " silent inflamation " . This type of inflamation exists in the body without you knowing it unless you start to develop symptoms -- at which time it may be too late to do anything about it. I started researching the mangosteen fruit a couple of years back and the research (over 150 years worth) findings claiming the fruit was found effective on inflamation of all kinds. I started consuming the whole fruit juice about three months ago and have found great benefits . . . on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the worse) my environmental allergies have gone from a 10 to a 2, my asthma from a 10 to a 5 and my chronic back pain a 10 to a 1. There are many brands and types of mangosteen supplements on the market today, however I have only found one to be truly the whole fruit juice and this is the only one I have had any results from as well. You can read as much as you choose about the mangosteen, however, the best info I have found is on pubmed and www.mangosteenmd.com If anybody would like more information about the brands I have tried and the one that has worked, please let me know. , " hivehealth " <editor wrote: > > > Study Looks at Anti-Inflammatory, Anti-Arthritis Effects of Bee Venom > > > > JNK Pathway is Involved in the Inhibition of Inflammatory Target Gene > Expression and NF-kappaB Activation by Melittin > > Journal of Inflammation, 2008, 5:7, 29 May 2008 > > http://apitherapy.blogspot.com/2008/06/study-looks-at-anti- inflammatory-\ > anti.html > <http://apitherapy.blogspot.com/2008/06/study-looks-at-anti- inflammatory\ > -anti.html> > > > > Background: Bee venom therapy has been used to treat inflammatory > diseases including rheumatoid arthritis in humans and in experimental > animals.
