Guest guest
Hello Everyone, Does anyone have a natural treatment for water on the knee? Any vitamins or herbs that might help? I'm not finding much in my research. I have read about putting cold compresses on it for the swelling and to elevate it. I will be going to the doctor in 2 weeks and am hoping to hold off until then, when it can be evaluated properly. It's very difficult to get an appointment with the Veterans Clinics around my area. There is a shortage of doctors. I do have advanced arthritis in the knee. I have had a recent motorcycle accident that crushed the leg and caused straining, spraining, and bruising. X-rays show nothing broken. The water on the knee started this weekend, 2 weeks after the accident. I might have pushed my leg in a bent postion that it has not been in since the accident. The knee does not hurt. It is just swollen to twice the size and has the characteristic wave as you poke it on one side. I had this condition when I was about age 11. I remember it well. I remember putting a pressure bandage on it, like an ace. I think because I am walking with a cane for now, my weight is off of it mostly, and that is why it does not hurt. I would appreciate any ideas... Sharon http://foru2bhealed.angelfire.com/
