Detox footpads and testing results

I know some of the folks on this site have used detox footpads (those

pads you put on the soles of your feet at night to remove toxins) but

has anyone sent their pads to a lab to test and see if it's really

removing anything?

I'm tempted to use the pads. I tried some awhile back and so did my

brother. I found it interesting that my pads smelled like a dirty

ashtray when I removed them from my feet (probably because I'm an ex-

smoker) and my brother's smelled different, no smell of tar and

nicotine, whicch fits since he never had that nasty habit.

However, I would kind of like some objective feedback like a lab

analysis. Has anyone done that?

I've used the pads but I haven't ever gotten any lab testings done on them. Mine

stunk when I took them off too, and I'm not a smoker although my room mate is a

smoker. But I did notice that they're suppose to be lighter after the third time

you use them.....mine wasn't.

Mine looked the same on the second and third day as they looked on the first day

I used them. So I was thinking either they don't work, or I just have way to

much toxins in my body.

I saw a special on these pads on Dateline (or one of those night time news

shows) and they found that there was no truth to the claims.and they did the

different tests before and after etc. Perhaps doing a search on dateline or

nightline, etc., would have their data online?
