Guest guest
HI all, I am hoping someone can help me. My husband has been complaining for a week now that his body felt sore. We thought he might have been coming down with a cold or flew, but nothing hit him. Now as of Monday, he has not even been able to work. He says the pain is not something he can describe, but the best description of it would be this. He says it kind of feels like he has to much lactic acid in his muscles such as you would get after working out. But it also feels like it is in his joints and bones. He also says it almost feels the way you might feel if you were having an emotional reaction so something. He is not able to hold the baby for any long period of time, and last night could hardly open a pill bottle. When he takes Motrin it helps it for the most part, but does not take it totally away. Also one other thing about it that is very weird is that he has spells where he feels totally freezing. He shakes and can not get warm. His temperature is always normal when we check it. Some times after the cold spells, he will start to sweat. Any thoughts? I am not finding anything online, and when talking to the doctor he is stumped. We see the doctor in the morning, so if there are any tests you all can think of to ask for the that would be grate. Any help at all would be so helpful. thanks
Guest guest
Where are you located? I know that the joints and bones complaint could signify the possibility of Lyme disease. Is there any possibility he got bit by a deer tic (any " bullseye " type rashes anywhere)? You can look up Lyme disease I'm sure and get sample pix of what to look for - although just because you can't find anything doesn't mean that it's not Lyme disease either. Just something to consider (and then rule out hopefully.) and if it is, then he needs to get to a Dr. for antibiotic treatments. Good luck! _____ On Behalf Of Amber Boggs Thursday, September 04, 2008 5:51 PM body paim HI all, I am hoping someone can help me. Just a thought. I know little about it but I do know people have those crazy chill spells followed by sweating, though I thought it went with fever. Anyway, just a suggestion for a question to ask.. Guest guest
Tell him to eat bananas, one a day should be fine. My first instinct is that it sounds like a potassium issue to me. Just my opinion. I am no MD but it can't hurt. When my muscles Begin to get sore and ache for no obvious reason I always resort to this solution and it works. --- On Thu, 9/4/08, Amber Boggs <rubyrue wrote: Amber Boggs <rubyrue body paim Thursday, September 4, 2008, 5:50 PM HI all, I am hoping someone can help me. Guest guest
Hi Amber, I had Dengue Fever once, and it was sort of like what you described, only it got much worse before it got better, and the pain felt like it was deep inside my bones. The chills came and went, and it took a long while before I felt better. There are 4 kinds of Dengue strains, all carried by mesquites and I'm not sure what the treatment is these days, it sucked back when I had it. Dengue is rare in the US, but very common in other countries. Not sure what the tests are for Dengue either, but just putting it out that the symptoms are similar. Good luck and let us know what helps. Anna Amber Boggs <_rubyrue_ (rubyrue) > [subject: _@AlternativeAAlt_ ( ) Thursday, September 4, 2008, 5:50 PM HI all, I am hoping someone can help me.
