Guest guest
Hi Rena, Ovarian cysts, like uterine fibroids, are common in women and are linked to an excess of estrogens. During your monthly cycle, they naturally grow and shrink, however during perimenopause (a time marked by " estrogen dominance " ) they can continue to grow and become problematic. Xenoestrogens in our foods, body care products, household cleaning products and the environment also contribute. In my experience, the best way to address fibroids and cysts is balancing the estrogen/progesterone ratio. The fastest approach is the use of a high quality progesterone cream. Peruvian Maca is also helpful. Avoid estrogen rich foods (especially soy) and elmiinate endocrine disrupting chemicals from the products you use. Avoid plastics, etc. Castor oil packs are also very helpful for both fibroids and cysts. And, know that as estrogen decreases (closer to actual menopause) they naturally shrink and often disappear altogether.
