Guest guest
Good Morning! Honoring All Hallow's Eve: Intuition & Crystals to Enhance Mind Power Tuning in to any energy is the ability to quiet the mind, allowing your inner self, or intuition, to perceive truth. By practicing this art, we develop a sensitivity toward inner information and the ability to condition our mind to listen on a much more subtle level. This developing can allow us the ability to sense energy and actually perceive on an even more subconscious plane. Techniques are vast and varied and include Meditation, Yoga, Qi Qong, Visualization, Physical Exercise, Prayer or your own personal techniques, all of which can be used in calming and clearing the mind and achieving clearer perception. Greater self control and self balance, awareness, inner peace and connective energy to the source of truth are all important in the path to attunement. As our minds are conditioned to listen in silence, responses come quicker and clearer to us. When we tend not to trust our intuition, there are two specific crystals which can help. Crystals Associated with Intuition The power behind Earth's minerals can be felt the minute you put a crystal in your hands or near your physical body. Crystals are the treasures of the earth. These stones are filled with energy to be used. Some of the best crystals for intuition include: Blue Lace Agate, Charoite, Hematite, Kyanite, Malachite, Moldavite, Petalite, Phenacite and Tiger's Eye. Blue Lace Agate Properties: Helps to focus on the inner source of love within you that transforms and heals all wounds. Contains the qualities of flight, air, movement, and grace. Highly inspirational when working with the inner self. Works well with not only the Throat Chakra, but the Heart, Third Eye and Crown Chakra. These stones (along with malachite) assist in left/right-brain balance. Therefore, those who feel stuck in their logical, rational selves can rebalance so that they may hear their intuitive voices. Charoite Properties: The stone of transformation. Charoite helps seeing old patterns with new possibilities. It is believed to open the heart, allow inspiration, encourage service, and grants us the ability for seeing more clearly (mentally, physically, psychically). It is believed that this stone brings about faster healing. Some find it useful for entity release work. Most effective on the upper centers of energy, which are the Heart, Brow and Crown Chakra to transmute/lift us out of troubled or stuck emotions and most of all, fear. This brings about vibrational change and therefore stimulates the Aura. Use this stone for transforming negative energies into acceptance. Use Charoite to assist in the foresight and ability to improve your intuitive vision. Hematite Properties: This crystal is the most recommended stone for grounding and is associated with the Root Chakra, by encourages ones survival instincts and is centering. Hematite condenses scattered feelings, turns fuzziness into mental clarity, enhances concentration, memory, practicality, helps those who study, do bookkeeping, detailed work and helps with sound sleep. Considered the symbol of life energy, hematite allows for more confidence, will power and boldness. Helps us adjust to being physical. A protective stone and helps bolster low self-esteem. Hematite is known to deflect negativity. It restores equilibrium, stability and is also used for astral protection. It brings our awareness back to the body and helps one maintain their sense of self. Kyanite Properties: Kyanite is considered the " Earth Stone " due to its soothing earth tone colors, as well as its grounding and tranquil nature. The healing benefits depend on the color it comes in. Blue Kyanite is most effective when placed on the Throat Chakra in order to open the throat for communication and self expression. On the Brow (Third Eye) Chakra, it enhances psychic images, foresight, consciousness and meditation. Kyanite is used to answer questions, especially in imagery, such as in vision, dreams or written interpretations. It brings out our natural ability to manifest things into reality via thoughts and visualization. Malachite Properties: Stimulates physical and psychic vision and concentration. Use for the heart and solar plexus centers. These stones (along with blue lace agate) assist in left/right-brain balance. Therefore, those who feel stuck in their logical, rational selves can rebalance so that they may hear their intuitive voices. Moldavite Properties: Powerfully expands psychic abilities, channeling. On Heart Chakra. Eases longing to leave earth. On pillow, brow, crown: Telepathic access to spiritual laws, info from higher regions/places to help us and Earth to be healthier and more spiritual. Petalite Properties: Petalite is highly spiritual. It has been called the " stone of the Angels " and will help one connect with one's guides. It is also said to dissolve negativity and black magic spells. Petalite has been used on vision quests for strength, protection, and peace. It will balance one's yin/yang qualities as well as one's mind, body, and spirit. It also enhances one's ability to feel energy in stones. Phenacite: Properties: A powerfully loving, healing, spiritual stone. Clearer stones intensely opens 3rd eye, Crown and Transpersonal Chakra as a white light channel. Clairvoyance/spiritual communication, meditation, astral travel, journeys. Helps one to map out a pathway within the dimensions. Energizes meridians and healing of other stones. It is a powerful stone for clearing and activating the chakras, in particular, the Third Eye and Crown chakras. It helps one to go further in meditation, and gives a deep awareness of one's inner structures, the chakras in particular. Phenacite in general can be used to amplify the energies of other stones used for healing, and to balance energy within one. Tiger's Eye: Properties: This stone is most recognized for bringing money, psychic protection, courage, luck confidence, willpower, clear thinking and speaking to show us the personal power in life that we have. Very versatile for the Yellow/Solar Plexus and Crown Chakra. Tiger's Eye works on our mental plane by amplifying thinking and manifesting what you think about. Helps separate thoughts from feelings, more centered, less emotional. Tiger's Eye allows us to recognize both our talents and our faults. It can reveal your true needs without our self-serving or rigid mental attitudes getting in the way. Use Tiger's Eye with malachite or pearl to benefit from their synergy for mental/emotional balance and true understanding. This stone helps change anxiety, fear and obsessiveness into practicality and logic. Has the grounding energy of the earth, but is embellished with a glowing warmth. A stone for people who need more confidence to accomplish their goals. Draws helpful people and material things to the wearer. Centers energy and mental focus. This stone helps us to find our closest version of perfectionism without obsessive behavior. Andrew Pacholyk, MS, L.Ac. http://www.peacefulmind.com/intuition.htm Therapies for healing mind, body, spirit _____________________________ Honoring All Hallow's Eve Halloween originated from the Pagan festival Samhain, celebrated among the Celts of Ireland and Great Britain. Irish and Scottish immigrants carried versions of the tradition to North America in the nineteenth century. The term Halloween (and its alternative rendering Hallowe'en) is shortened from All-hallow-even, as it is the eve of " All Hallows' Day " ,[1] also which is now known as All Saints' Day. It was a day of religious festivities in various northern European Pagan traditions, [2] until Popes Gregory III and Gregory IV moved the old Christian feast of All Saints' Day from May 13 to November 1. In the ninth century, the Church measured the day as starting at sunset, in accordance with the Florentine calendar. Although All Saints' Day is now considered to occur one day after Halloween, the two holidays were, at that time, celebrated on the same day. Liturgically, the Church traditionally celebrated that day as the Vigil of All Saints, and, until 1970, a day of fasting as well. Like other vigils, it was celebrated on the previous day if it fell on a Sunday, although secular celebrations of the holiday remained on the 31st. The Vigil was suppressed in 1955, but was later restored in the post-Vatican II calendar. Many European cultural traditions, in particular Celtic cultures, hold that Halloween is one of the liminal times of the year when spirits can make contact with the physical world, and when magic is most potent (according to, for example, Catalan mythology about witches and Irish tales of the Sídhe). Guest guest
As a former Brit (emigrated 1948) I am very interested, I have only a very little knowledge of your field but I do have experience in rock hunting for many years and in fact I have a front border filled with lapidary quality rocks of all kinds, my late husband and I were avid rockhounds and always either went out in the field or visited local rock shops for quality rough when travelling. Now I am 81 so my rock-hounding days are done but what I do need help with is improvement in energy and ability to concentrate on the job at hand as I invariably get an idea and, quick, have to check up on it and therefore never seem to complete routine (invariably boring) tasks. I would appreciate your counsel on this matter, I have become agnostic and anti doctors and especially 'big pharma' and I am appalled at some of the blatent opposition to natural medicine that is going on. In fact I joined a group called Natural Medicine (I think) which group is actively fighting the FDA to try to stop the harassment of alternative doctors and those who are trying to beat the system.
