Thisi is probably off topic of people and their medical problems but

I've recently discovered that my cat Baby-mixed breed, 16 years old,

can't hear. I call or make noises around him and if he doesn't see me

he doesn't respond. I was wondering if there were any holistic/herbal

treatments for this or anything else I should look into to help my old

cat. He still plays on occasion, has a good appetite and can get up on

furniture but we've placed boxes around to make it easier because his

joints are sore sometimes as well. Thanks.

He wont be able to go outdoors if he does that now.  My 18 yr old dog had

hearing loss towards the end, and it really can be dangerous for them.  You

might try going on answers.  You'll see a link for that on the home page,

if you havent already seen it. They have categories for pets and someone there

may know about it.
