Guest guest
Hi, If you do know for sure that you have or had a case of GBS and it hasn't yet begun to reverse by itself please don't ignore it. It can progress sometimes quickly well beyond the extremities and even affect your respiratory system. The most common treatment to halt its progress is a strong round of steroids. I had an experience with it after the birth of my second child. By the time they figured out what it was - I had lost a lot of motor skills. I could hardly write my name and tripped and fell several times, once down a flight of stairs. I do vividly remember the tingling, burning sensation in the my hands and feet. That lasted for months even after my motor skills returned. It would also pop back up from time to time especially if it was cold - feeling like frostbite. I didn't know then what I know now about alternative treatments like herbs so I had to wait it out. I recently recomended a product that combines rainforest and chinese herbs for pain and inflammation to a friend with renauds (which also causes nerve pain in hands and feet). It is called Recovazon and you can use it topically as a gel and internally for inflammation. They said that it worked very well and very quickly. You can also take blue-green algae which helps to repair the damaged nerve tissue more quickly. The farther the GBS progressed - the longer it will take for the nerves to come back. I bet it was probably 6 - 8 months before I no longer noticed any numbness or tingling in my fingers and toes. You also need to be very careful with vaccines from now on because some can trigger a reaccurance of the GBS and once you've had it once, I am sure you don't want it again. Well, if I had pain in my fingers and feet, I would take RED CAYENNE PEPPER CAPSULES. I'm diabetic..and it has helped with my neurapathy and headaches too. It gets the circulation going in your body. Personally, I only take 1 or 2 per day. I hope this helps you.
Guest guest
2 suggestions try accupuncture and a chiropractor that can adjust hands and feet. Also there is an herbal product call flex by Evergreen labs that may help.
