Guest guest
I saw the episode on 60 minutes about Hoodia with Leslie Stahl and I've been interested in it since for weight loss. It's a plant the African bushmen use when they go on long hunts to keep them from hunger AND thirst. It works, except it made me not want to drink water---and that became a problem. I normally drink 8 cups of water daily and taking hoodia made me not thirsty at all. Plus, I hate to take pills of any kind. So I bought these hoodia lollipops---just came today. I was wondering if anyone else has used them?
Guest guest
Small world,I'm a represenitive for the pops. I love them, they help me in trying to quit smoking and eating so much! Plus they have vitamins and stuff, and they are really good! When did u see the episode on extra? Also how many bags did u get?and how much did u pay? I could have gotton u a discount, had I known... as far as weight loss and appetite control.,I wouldn't put all my eggs in the hoodia basket, but they are good! Let me know in the future if u buy them again and want a discount.. Also where did u order them from? Deb --aliano
Guest guest
I would be interested to know what brand of hoodia you bought and how much was the dose in mg? I have tried hoodia and it did nothing for me. I was still hungry and still thirsty, so its got me wondering about the one I bought and didn't work. If you could tell me what yours is that works, I would like to try that one. Thank you...Mama , " letters4rebecca " <letters4rebecca wrote: > > I saw the episode on 60 minutes about Hoodia with Leslie Stahl and I've > been interested in it since for weight loss. Guest guest
Upon closer inspection of the " hoodia pops " I am disappointed in mine and may send them back. I bought mine through amazon---they have all sorts of other things---hoodia is the last ingredient before sugar---not exactly what I wanted. Are yours the same? , " Deb. Guest guest
I'm disappointed in those pops, as I said earlier, because they are guarana pops---or at least that is the fist ingredient followed by L- triosine, and Citrimax and then hoodia. I don't want to research all those other things. I don't want a stimulant and that is what Guarana is, even if it is from a plant. I just want to keep things simple. I'll find the hoodia I used and get back to you---it is true that they are not all equal---some parts of the plant are not as effective as others. And I suspect there is a lot of fraud in cheaper products. In , " oh_mama33 " <oh_mama33 wrote: > > I would be interested to know what brand of hoodia you bought and how > much was the dose in mg? Guest guest
Actually, there is a tiny amount of sugar in them needed to bind the ingredients, but a very small amount.,as far as stimulantes, very tiny amoints in this product, not enough to get any stimulant sensation... ther are some vitamins such as b vitamins and tyrosine is not a stimulant... as far as weightloss,as I said before, don't put all you're eggs in the hoodia basket!! That being said, there is a good quality small amount of hoodia in the pops, they just got a patent 3 months ago on the pops.. I think they are a good distraction for those who eat out of bordom, and those trying to quit smoking ect.,and why not get a couple vitamins in there why u distract yourself sucking on one.,and it takes a good 12-15 mins of constant sucking, yes I'm laughing right now!! But one pop does take about 16 mins to finish, thus a good distraction.... Deb --aliano
