Guest guest
Hi! I am new to the group and love the interaction I have seen here! I wanted to touch on the topic of the link between mental patterns (beliefs, decisions, etc.) and the physical manifestations of those patterns, dis-ease. I am a hypnotherapist and channel, and whenever I start working with a new client, they are required to get a book: Louise Hay's " You Can Heal Your Life " . In it, she explains how our experiences are a reflection of our mental state, as well as having an index in the book that links specific physical issues/symptoms with mental patterns. I have used this book with complete success as far as addressing and locating the beliefs that are getting validated through illnesses. Myself, I was diagnosed last year with severe high blood pressure (after the loss of four people in four months, my blood pressure went to stroke level). Of course, I managed it with Western Meds, but I was on a mission to get it down so I could get off of the prescriptions...it has taken a little effort and time, but I can say that I have been off of the meds for over four months. The book is certainly not a cure-all, but I recommend it as a wonderful reference...using it has allowed me to help my clients resolve issues much more quickly because it provides a " short cut " to know where to go with hypnosis. Just a thought! Jennifer P.S. I am also a fan of energy work, herbs, etc. I believe that we have many choices in approaching imbalances, and sometimes using a combination of approaches works wonders too! Guest guest
A wonderful book, indeed. I first read it in 1987 after becoming a massage therapist and love that's it's still relevant today. I worked in a retreat center at the time and found that very often while giving a massage, my clients would experience an emotional release. I wanted to know how to better facilitate that, so I became a Clinical Hypnotherapist. Next, I recognized the body/mind connection and began combining Hypnotherapy with bodywork. Powerful stuff! Now, I do EFT which just combines it all in one easy, fast and effective package. EFT is great combined with Hypnotherapy.
