Guest guest
Not sure how to exactly spell it. But it is an herb I used called Mullein. This may sound a little weird, but I cleaned out one of my pipes, got some filters and smoked it when I had the urge to have a cigarette. It felt a little weird at first. I did that for a week and a half, and notice I didn't smoke it anymore nor had any cravings for cigarettes. It has been 23 years since I quit. Good luck if you try it. Glenn _______________ http://www.thebodytherapycenter.com/mlink.htm DOes anyone know of any natural remedies for quitting smoking? Some methods/herbs, perhaps that would ease the withdrawals and not result in weight gain? Thanks!!!
Guest guest
Auricular acupuncture. If you don't like needles, they can tape small magnetic beads into your ears. It's very effective. - " jvcowboy69 " <jvcowboy69 Thursday, April 02, 2009 2:12 PM Quitting Smoking! > DOes anyone know of any natural remedies for quitting smoking? Guest guest
Method: Try EFT! One of the earlier DVDs actually shows a session on nicotine cravings. Find EFT here. http://www.emofree.com/a/?875/1 Herb: tea made with the humble and ubiquitous Plantain (the herb, not the banana) might help. There was even a commercial product named cigno based on plantain. Ien in the Kootenays http://freegreenliving.com (blog)
Guest guest
I quit smoking over 15 years ago after trying all sorts of things. This really works and not alot of effort required. You will need to go to a health shop and ask for a mix of the following Bach Flowers Agrimony - hiding behind the smoke Walnut - the transition from going from a smoker to a non smoker Crab Apple - to help get rid of the nicotine from your body Larch - For Confidence Impatiens - for Irritablity I took these bach flowers during the day, whenever I felt like them..using my intuition to guide me. You can keep smoking while you take them. It was about 3- 4 weeks after taking the drops that I ran out of cigarettes, and I never bought another one since. It was that easy. I kept the mix on hand for anytime that I might feel tempted, like social occassions, xmas etc...but I never really needed them. Guest guest
Just to support this testimony, I want to say that I don't smoke, but I heard about the use of the herb Mullein to quit smoking with good results.
