Guest guest
Susan, goldenrod is great for drying up the mucous and is terrific for allergies. Nettles is also a great infusion to use for allergies., slippery elm for pulling it out of the body. Dandelion will not work as a laxative. What's so wondeful about dandelion is that while ridding your body of water, it replaces the potassium that you generally loose when using a diuretic. Guest guest
Susan, are you using slippery elm to start to heal your colon? I'd be using it with some organic whole milk yogurt to start healing the colon and adding lots of good flora in. Also I don't know where you are located, but a wonderful thing to start to work on your colon with is to start drinking some plantain tea. In most areas you can find plantain growing all over. I'm going to try to attach a picture of plantain so you can see what it looks like. If you have it, pick the fresh leaves, down to the bottom of the little stalk, fill your jar fill and then fill it again with boiling water, let it steep a few hours, then drink and store remainder in refrigerator and drink it either warm or cold. Guest guest
Or how about that cabbage concoction this group was talking about when i first joined; Put cabbage in a blender with distilled water and leave it sit in a dark place for a few days. Wouldn't that help the stomach/colon? Guest guest
It does. I used it for a while, and it works. But BOY does it make a person smell bad!
