My son went to his grandparents house the weekend before this past one. I picked him back up on Tuesday afternoon of last week. Since that time he has these little bumps that are all over his chest, back neck and even behind his ears. Unfortunately I do not know what he ate while there...and do not know what kind of soap or shampoo he used while there...so I honestly don't know what the cause of these little bumps are. It LOOKS like a rash of some sort, but it doesn't itch or bother him, other than he hates the way his skin feels to the touch. I know that I don't have much to go on to determine to cause, but I definitely am in desperate need of getting rid of these things. Anyone have any idea of what I could give him or do to help him?? It will be a week tomorrow so it is obviously not going away with getting back to his "normal" routine.

Thanks!

Caroline

Hi Caroline,

Maybe your son is detoxing after being off his "normal routine" at the grandparents'. I know that my daughter (almost 10 yrs old) woke up with a zit this morning after being on a road trip with Grandma last week (and eating McDonalds most of the week - YUCK!). Obviously, getting him back on a good diet with lots of water is a good idea. Maybe others have suggestions for dealing directly with the rash.
