Guest guest
Hello, I'd like to gather info on remedies to support energy and combat the daytime sleepies. I am undergoing a sleep test next month (parasomnogram) to rule in (or out) whether I have hypersomnia. If I do, it may or may not be associated with the secondary symptom for SAD sufferers. I'm looking at the benefits of coenzyme Q-10, free form animo, bee pollen, and ginseng. There are so many ginsengs out there, I don't know where to start. TIA, Kath
Guest guest
Hi Kath, Have you done any cleansing? I have no experience in the area you mention, but it seems to me that your body can't be performing optimally if it wants to keep shutting down to sleep. I think that the vitamins you mention are excellent, I take most of them myself. I would also recommend the Total Nutrition, if you're not already taking that. :)Kelli Kath [JustKathHere] Tuesday, June 22, 2004 7:53 AMherbal remedies Subject: Herbal Remedies - hypersomnia (the daytime sleepies)Hello,I'd like to gather info on remedies to support energy and combat the daytime sleepies. Guest guest
I agree with this 100 times! I used to get daytime sleepies...I would get so tired I was afraid to drive in the early afternoon and would never schedule myself to work later than around 2 or 3 because usually around 3 I would get so tired I had no other choice but to lay down. Since I started making dietary changes in my life this has decreased incredibly. THEN I started taking Total Nutrition and every day I feel like I can go and go and yes, I do get tired come the evening...like normal people do...but during the day...I can make it through without a nap. For that I am very thankful!! Caroline Hi Kath, Have you done any cleansing? Guest guest
Hi Ladies, Can you recommend a site (or brand) that sells Total Nutrition? A search of those two words brings up tens of thousands of pages :-) And no, I haven't done a cleansing. I do own " Prescription for Nutritional Healing " which has a section on colon cleansing - is that what you are referring to? Thank You!
