Guest guest
Sorry, Susan, I forgot where I was there for a minute. And you are absolutely right, this list has a 'no politics rule'. I should have kept my comments to the article's content. I had seen it the day before and was still speechless so it was just easier to attack the source. This surely confirms the need for the 'no politics rule', huh, Doc. But, what the heck once in awhile it's kinda fun, even if we all do have to take some extra garlic for the BP. Guest guest
Wellllllllll, I certainly don't want your BP skyrocketting because of this discussion Susan, so I hope you have some Cayenne handy LOL ;o) As I said in my original article on this, neither Bush nor Kerry are worthy at this stage of the game and are the pawns of the Giant Pharmaceuticals and the International Bankers. This is why I stated they both had to go and that Valorie and I would be supporting the Libertarians this election if only as a protest vote. Guest guest
Yes, wellllllllllll, I knew I was opening a can of worms here, but it had to be done. This issue can not simply go unconfronted. I simply refuse to allow my family to be put in danger or jeopardy because of the Psychs. It just ain'ta gonna happen. A man is dead who will not sometimes fight, especially if it is in the defense of himself, his loved ones, and his friends. I consider all of you on Herbal Remedies to be my friends. Bush and his cronies are now threatening the mental health of the entire nation, and this can not go unanswered. The place for us to shout out and to protest this is at the polls. If you are curious about the Libertarians, check out their website as Sylvia did. These are decent people who have our Human Rights at the forefront of their agenda. The Repooplicans and the Democraps have for far tooooo long betrayed our trust, and it's time for them to go. Believe me when I tell you that I am the most unpolitical person you could possibly imagine. I have not voted in over 25 years. I will not vote in this coming election because I am a Canadian and so do not have that right (I didn't vote in the last two elections in Canada either). Don't get me wrong. Valorie (an American) and I have been married for 18+ years and getting my citizenship would be very easy for me to do. I simply choose not to do this for no other reason other than I am apolitical and choose to consider myself a citizen of the world rather than limiting myself to one country. There are enough NUKES on this planet to fry every man, woman, and child about 25 times over. We can no longer think only of ourselves and our own piece of turf. I'm just afraid that if we don't grow up, we'll all be Toast!!! Literally!!! We can no longer afford the luxury of, "Letting someone else take the responsibility for it all". Every great religion on Earth preaches the "Brotherhood of Man" (and no I'm not opening up a religious thread, so don't even go there). It is time we practiced that lesson, and walked the talk. What happens to our brothers in Iraq, or Afganistan, or Africa or anywhere else for that matter, affects all of us whether we like it or not, regardless of our own personal religious preferrences. As John Donne said in 1593, "Ask not for whom the bell tolls. It tolls for thee". Love, Doc PS. I urge each and every one of you to vote Libertarian and for Libertarian candidates in this next election. Check 'em out!!! If we have a chance, this might be the only one. But don't just take my word for it. I always encourage others to "Look" for themselves and make up their own minds.
