Guest guest
Hey folks, I know sunscreen can help prevent ya from getting burned to a crisp but it isen't all its cracked up to be. Consider the following: 1. Since sunscreen use has increased the rate of skin cancers has doubled. 2. Drs. and scientists have found that humans need approx. two hours a day of direct sunlight no sunscreed no sun glasses in order for the body to maufature sufficient ammounts of vitamin D. The number of vitamin D defficient children, teens, and adults, and related health problems is on the rise. Leading them to question is sunscreen such a good thing. I don't have ammounts or percentages off the top of my head but their out there. One dermatologist on the east coast recently got fired for saying so. But don't take my word for it do a google search or go to www.mercola.com. I would reccomend something for sunburn but it looks as if it has all ready been covered by the well informed gang here. O.
